REFLECTION QUESTIONTransportation Choose a Carbon OffsetA round-trip flight from New York City to Los Angeles emits just over 1.5 tons of CO2—per person. That’s a lot of carbon! What can you do to reduce the number of flights you take per year?
Juliana Gianni 4/07/2023 2:28 AMBeing abroad, I am finding myself traveling by plane and train more often than I normally would in Carlisle. Airlines make it super easy to off-set your carbon emissions, and typically it does not add more than $5 to your overall cost. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONSimplicity Less Screen TimeWhat did you notice in implementing this challenge? Was it hard to choose other activities over screen time? How did you decide to spend your time?
Juliana Gianni 4/07/2023 2:26 AMLimiting screen time is often a very challenging thing, as we always have our phones on us and are conditioned to check them so frequently. One thing that has helped me is powering my phone completely off, or leaving it at home when I am going places that I know I won't need it. -
