REFLECTION QUESTIONWaste Find Local Recycling DepotsOur ability to recycle certain things ebbs and flows based upon many factors, including market demand for recyclables. Luckily there are places that accept uncommon things to recycle or dispose of in a less harmful way. What did you find when looking for places to recycle items that can't be recycled in your curbside bin?
Kelli Group 4/21/2023 10:32 AMI found that Cumberland County has a recycling center on Claremont Road. It does cost $.50 per pound to take things there but I think it's worth it if it helps keep things out of the landfill. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Plant an Herb GardenConsider the ways you can garden: a plot of land? a patio container? hanging basket? windowsill gardens? What would work best for your living situation and lifestyle?
Kelli Group 4/21/2023 10:30 AMA patio container or window sill garden works best for me at this time. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONEnergy Online Energy AuditWhat most interested or surprised you about your own energy footprint? What changes did you make or will you make?
Kelli Group 4/21/2023 10:28 AMI always forget to unplug chargers when not in use. To help me remember and make it an instinctual habit I've posted a note on the door so I see it and can double check before leaving the house.-
Brennen Dickerson 4/21/2023 12:11 PMI do the same thing (forgetting). I love the idea of leaving notes for myself so I remember!
