its really hard to wrap your head around the global societal impact of something. Documentaries are good but getting people to set the time aside can be challenging.

    Greg Mountain's avatar
    Greg Mountain 4/03/2023 7:35 AM
taking the time to think about my waste footprint more times throughout the day and making conscious decisions to reduce and reuse
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Waste Use a Reusable Mug
Maybe you've heard how good it is to switch from a single use coffee cup to a reusable one, but it's just hard to make the switch. What stands in your way of making this a habit? By identifying the challenges, you can begin to work through them to have better success in taking this action. Knowing the difference you are making, how does it make you feel?

What stands in my way is mostly just making the extra effort to go get my cup if I'm away from my desk (but close by to the coffee maker). Stopping and making the conscious decision to take 2 extra minutes to prevent waste is all it takes, and it makes me feel like i'm doing a small part.
