Happiness
I will write down three things every day that I am grateful for, or send one email every day thanking or praising someone.

REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth HappinessHow does/can practicing gratitude keep you centered and motivated to work for a better world?
ming Robinson 4/03/2023 3:38 PMIt keeps me positive. If I think happy thoughts I present myself more happy and only see the positives in life instead of focusing on the negatives. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Reduce Animal ProductsWhy do people in richer countries eat more meat than people in other places? How does eating more meat affect our planet and other people?
ming Robinson 4/03/2023 3:37 PMEating more meat affects our planet in more ways than we think. First the resources used to raise animals to use for meat is unsustainable. Cows for example need food which we have to produce using nutrients from the soil and water to irrigate it. The animal itself needs water too. The amount of resources that go into animals for the amount of meat we get out of them is not equal. Keeping with cows, they also produce methane, a green house gas, which warms our planet. There are 30 million cows in the US, that’s a lot of methane going into the atmosphere. More energy goes into transporting the meat to get to your grocery stores. If we eat less meat, even one meal less, that can make a huge impact. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth More Fruits and VeggiesHow does eating more fruits and vegetables and less meat positively affect yourself, other people, and our planet?
ming Robinson 4/03/2023 3:31 PMEating more fruit makes my gut feel better. It fills me up with good nutrition instead of eating processed foods that make me feel sick.
