BACK TO TEAM PAGE

Reflection, encouragement, and relationship building are all important aspects of getting a new habit to stick.
Share thoughts, encourage others, and reinforce positive new habits on the Feed.

To get started, share “your why.” Why did you join the challenge and choose the actions you did?

I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude to all of you for your hard work and dedication during our recent ecochallenge. It was truly inspiring to see so many people coming together to make a positive impact on our environment.
I was honored to be named the first-place winner, but I know that the real prize was the progress we made together. Each of you played an important role in reducing our carbon footprint, conserving resources, and promoting sustainable living.
Thank you for your commitment to this important cause. I hope we can continue to support and encourage each other in our ongoing efforts to protect our planet.

Another way to use nature for decorating.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Transportation Walk Instead
Half of all trips made in the US are three miles or less; 72% of them are driven. Does this statistic describe your own transportation habits? If so, how might you incorporate more muscle-powered transportation in your daily life?

I'm thinking of walking to and from work - that would only be 4.2 miles/day. As long as I keep my bag light, it shouldn't be a problem.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Nature Go for a Daily Walk
How do you experience your neighborhood or city differently when walking instead of driving?

Absolutely! I love to check out the architecture in our historic town, and all of the ways my neighbors are using their spaces.
The sounds of the birds lately have been wonderful for stress reduction, too.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Health Happiness
How does/can practicing gratitude keep you centered and motivated to work for a better world?

I think that it helps me see the positive things in life. It's too easy to get caught up in all of the obstacles.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Health Exercise Daily
How can you incorporate other personal values (like quality time with friends or spending time in nature) into your exercise routine?

My cousin and I joined an online challenge together. She lives in another state, but this enables us to talk while we walk and feel like we're still together.
