I believe you can express your personality through your actions and hobbies. Spending time outside in nature shows a lot to the people around you. That you value the outdoors, or anything else that is fun to you. As long as you have clothes at home and some shoes you can enjoy a nice walk and explore.

I think getting outside enhances your brain power because you are staring at a device or worrying about anything. You are outside getting sunlight, natural vitamins, and enjoying the surroundings. It can free you up and make you feel, behave, and think better.

People in richer countries eat more meat because it is widely available and inexpensive. Larger richer countries like the USA have factory farms for meat which churn out low quality, low costing meat at a very high rate to make it available. Countries that don't have the infrastructure can't produce that cheap meat for everyone. Eating meat has...

Agriculture, transportation of all kinds, and plenty of other activities impact local and global water systems. Buying a pound of meat from the store has so many impacts on the water system that we don't even realize. Buying less "stuff" is always a good answer to fixing environmental problems, especially involving water.

Fruit and vegetables have lot of macro and micronutrients that help my body preform and its best and feel better. I know when I eat more fruit and veggies I am fuller for longer and eat less junk. Overall the less meat a person eats the less emissions they are responsible for because the production of meat is so harmful.

I need to be better about meat consumption. I don't eat a lot of beef or pork which are the worst to consume for emissions. But I do go through a lot of chicken and turkey. Cutting back and finding substitutes that meet my needs will be difficult.

Organic food grown on small farms will be more expensive and not logical for all. But, people can do there best to buy organic when possible, or even shop local rather at larger stores to get a high quality food product and a competitive price.

Well you can add the different parts to different elements of the dish. You can always eat the skin of a vegetable. The tops, and stalks usually would have different flavors so they can be used in a stock or sauce of sorts. I'm not the best at cooking, but there are so many resources to learn from, especially for zero waste cooking.

Awareness of ecological problems is a good focus area for me because of my strong sustainability based academic background. I was talking on the phone with my family and mentioned a work project involving green power sources. A couple of days later my family switched to a green provider! Making people aware of a problem, and some possible...

Weightlifting at the gym is always fun. It is such a great way to de-stress because your throwing weight on around and pushing yourself. I also enjoy hiking and being in nature!
